Key Features
DEOS Solution Modules
DEOS automatic encryption comes in two modules: an Administrator Module to create
Administrator Master Keys and a User Module limited to performing automatic encryption
to secure your computers.
Logoff Encryption
When the Logoff encryption is turned on, as soon as your Users place sensitive files in the folder configured by the
IT Administrator, DEOS takes charge to automatically encrypt files in batch mode when Users turn their computer
off. These files can be decrypted when opening a session or later on. With the automatic Logoff Encryption feature,
Users can rest assured that sensitive files are protected when they are traveling out of the office with their laptops
or when their workstations are shut off.
Timed-Interval Encryption
Using the Timed-Interval Encryption function, as soon as a User places sensitive files in the folder configured by
your IT Administrator, DEOS will encrypt them one-to-one at the timed-interval set. If DEOS finds an unprotected
file, it will automatically encrypt it. No more forgetting!
User Password
When DEOS Solution is launched for the first time, it lets Users configure their own password to protect their
sensitive files. This feature reduces IT Administrator intervention to a strict minimum.
Administrator Master Key
The IT Administrator Master Key, coupled with the DEOS application, allows the Administrator to recover Users' data
when they forget or lose their password. Entering the Administrator password will access secured files at all time.
Active Directory Configuration New
With the .ADM file inserted to the Active Directory Group Policy Management, DEOS options are easily configured by
the IT Administrator. From the encryption algorithm to the User password structure, DEOS configuration is shaped
according to your security needs.
Log Journal New
DEOS record logs. Details such as the file name, its last modification date, and file size are made available to
Administrators in a log journal.
